Scientific Research into the Effectiveness of Manuka Honey
Honey is one of the world's oldest folk remedies.
It has been used in ancient times by the Egyptians and the Greeks. Honey was also used extensively in medicine until about 50 years ago when pharmaceutical companies began to promote the use of antibiotics. Since then many bugs have become resistant to these antibiotics and honey is again coming into the mainstream.
