This Tasmanian honey is harvested from a variety of Eucalypt species in the Western Tiers. It is dense and opaque with russet brown tones and darker particles in suspension. The aromas are complex and intense - there is a touch of citrus with almost meaty/gamey notes. In the mouth it is richly textured with that appealing 'gritty' sensation much beloved by Leatherwood honey fans. A bold honey with punchy flavours - spread it thickly on pancakes.
