Yapunyah is the Gunya word for "Eucalyptus trees that grow up from riverbanks". Yapunyah honey is also called Paroo honey after the river that flows through this isolated area of western Queensland.

Melita Yapunyah Honey is pale and clear with bright gold highlights. It has a delicate aroma with scents reminiscent of lemon tart, marzipan and almond. There is a slight tannic edge which helps contributes to the lingering flavours and cuts any overwhelming sweetness.
